Think of Bingo night, but a whole lot faster and with a whole lot of “callers”. And each Bingo card is a computer.

Instead of the “caller” shouting out a letter and a number the computers receive a lot of requests to confirm transactions .

Call it a math problem, call it a jigsaw puzzle, the computers are in a race to be the first one to solve it…

Bingo! Somebody comes over and checks your card. Lol, Nope!

All those other computers are going to take a look. If they like what they see, you get the reward, and everybody’s off to the races again…

Can you imagine the joy if everyone in the room had to come over and check your Bingo card lol…

Who are the miners?

Anybody that wants to be, currently estimated to be over a million across the world.

Why do big companies get into mining? Same reason companies do anything – it’s profitable.

Sure, there are good businesses with good intentions.

But there are also Governments with questionable motives that can sweep in and take them over.

What provides the true security to the network?

The hundreds of thousands of random people doing it all across the planet.

…because each of them gets a vote. You can be one too!

There are a lot more individuals in this world than there are Governments and self-serving businesses…

As long as we as individuals continue to exercise our right to use a currency and store-of value that cannot be diluted, it cannot be changed or taken away.
